The organizing team of the Post-Sportverein Gera e.V. warmly invites you to the 11th Höhlerfestlauf on September 26, 2026. New to the program is the 22 km cross-country race (2 laps of the 11.4 km course) featuring obstacles and wet feet (360 m elevation change). The classic running competitions of 11.4 km, 5 km, 2.5 km, 0.8 km, and 11.4 km walking remain in the program and will take you through the beautiful Gera city forest and the Hofwiesenpark. A competition for runners with disabilities, as well as the traditional "Höhlis Parent-Child Run," round off the offerings.

Highlights

  • New to the program is the 22 km cross-country race (2 laps of the 11.4 km course) featuring obstacles and wet feet (360 m elevation gain).
  • The classic running competitions of 11.4 km, 5 km, 2.5 km, 0.8 km, and 11.4 km walking will remain in the program and will take place through the beautiful Gera city forest and the Hofwiesenpark.
  • The "run with a special flair" will once again feature live music from gOldfinger and country singer Andrew York at the start and finish.
